Taking to Instagram, Kerry, 40, shared a photo of herself bundled up in a dressing gown, looking sad as she waited for the results of her coronavirus test.
She told her followers: ‘Still waiting on our Covid results! Really praying we all just have flu!!’
Once she received her results Kerry shared a crying emoji as she updated her fans her test came back positive.
Kerry urged others to take the pandemic seriously, adding: ‘Never felt so poorly! Both Ryan and I are held up in the bedroom.
‘My poor children. I honestly don’t know what to do. For all of those who don’t think Covid is real, think again!!!’
Kerry and her fiancé Ryan Mahoney had posted about being out together in London on a date night five days before testing positive.
The singer and TV personality is mother to 19-year-old Molly, 17-year-old Lily Sue, Heidi, 13, Maxwell, 12, and six-year-old Dylan-Jorge.
Kerry and Ryan have been engaged since the end of August, and Kerry previously spoke about him being her ‘happy ever after’.
She told the Loose Women panel: ‘Normally, after two and a half years, I’ve already got a baby, I’m engaged, married and divorced.
‘This has been how it should be, this has been getting to know each other, moving in, then getting engaged, then getting married. No way do I want any more kids, as of yet.
‘Before, it’s always been about a wedding, I don’t want a wedding, I want a marriage. Ryan’s my partner, my life partner.
‘I feel like this is how it should have been the first time and second… and third time around!’
