Kerry Katona showcases dramatic hair transformation ahead of 41st birthday

Kerry Katona stepped out with a vibrant new purple hairstyle this week as she prepares to turn 41 next month, and we have to say, she looks fierce.

The reality star and former blonde stood out from the crowd as she walked hand in hand with her daughter Heidi, 14.

She beamed at cameras, wearing an emerald jumpsuit and cosy black cardigan, as well as designer accessories.

Kerry debuted her transformation on Instagram, joking that she’s ‘not having a midlife crisis’ but is in fact ‘loving’ her ‘mermaid hair.’

The media personality will struggle to stay incognito both with her bright new do and her matching blue £100k Range Rover Sport SVR 4×4, which she bought in December.

However, one thing that doesn’t quite complement the colour palette is the yellow £60 parking ticket the former Atomic Kitten member got in Alderley Edge car park on Thursday.

The mother-of-five actually announced just days ago on Instagram that she is thinking of selling her stunning car up for sale or in a raffle, despite it being a recent purchase.

Ahead of turning 41 on September 6, Kerry also had her face tightened to avoid growing ‘old and wrinkly.’

She visited a cosmetic clinic near her new Cheshire home after moving back up north this summer.

Her fans were surprised by her new look, but didn’t hesitate to flood her Instagram comments with compliments.

‘Simply stunning looking girl. Always have been,’ one wrote.

Another said, ‘Now I wanna dye my hair purple.’

Get the purple rinse out, guys: we’re going full Katona.
