Khloe Kardashian has been bombarded with support from her sisters and celebrities alike after speaking out about the controversial leaked photo.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star embarked on a mission to remove an unedited photo of her in her bikini that was posted on social media without her consent.
Fans praised the snap for showing Khloe, 36, completely unfiltered and with her natural body but it only heightened her body image insecurities.
As she released a statement about the controversy, Khloe’s friends and family rushed to praise her.
Kendall Jenner weighed in: ‘Yes! you beautiful, strong, healthy queen ❤️.’
Khloe’s mother Kris Jenner wrote a particularly heartfelt comment and said: ‘Khloé you are the kindest most loving, most supportive, most beautiful heart I have ever known, and I adore you and am so proud of you…. you are an inspiration to all of us and I appreciate and love you each and every single day.

‘Thank you for teaching the rest of us to be kind and to not judge…. you are one of a kind…. what a blessing you are. You are a gift. ❤️🙏.’
Ariana Grande was also moved by Khloe’s words and said: ‘Love u & your heart.’
Khloe’s best friend Malika Haqq commented: ‘I love you.’
Malika’s twin sister Kadijah Haqq McCray added: ‘You’re exactly who God made you to be and your journey is marked for greatness. Love you!’
In her lengthy statement, Khloe said she had ‘every right’ to remove the unfiltered photo and has battled with body image issues after being ‘conditioned to feel [she is] not beautiful enough’.
She explained that the ‘pressure, constant ridicule and judgement’ has been ‘too much to bear’.
‘‘The photo that was posted this week is beautiful. But as someone who has struggled with body image her whole life, when someone takes a photo of you that isn’t flattering in bad lighting or doesn’t capture your body the way it is after working so hard to get it to this point – and then shares it to the world – you should have every right to ask for it to not be shared – regardless of who you are,’ she explained.
Khloe, who is mother to two-year-old daughter True, later stated: ‘I am not perfect but I promise you that I try everyday to live my life as honestly as possible and with empathy and kindness.
‘It doesn’t mean that I have not made mistakes. But I’m not going to lie. It’s almost unbearable trying to live up to the impossible standards that the public have all set for me.’
She concluded: ‘Everyday I am told by my family and friends who love me that I am beautiful but I know that it needs to be believed from within. We are all unique and perfect in our own way. Whichever way one chooses to be seen.
‘I have realised that we cannot continue to live life trying to fit into the perfect mould of what others have set for us. Just do you and make sure your heart is happy.’
