Laura Whitmore shares cute kissing picture for Iain Stirling’s birthday as she makes him a cheesecake

Laura Whitmore has shared an adorable birthday tribute to Iain Stirling as the Love Island voiceover celebrated turning 33.

The presenter, 35, shared a rare PDA picture of her and Iain kissing as she wrote: ‘Happy Birthday to my best friend (I even tagged you in the picture!)’

Laura also revealed that she was making Iain a special cake to celebrate his birthday amid lockdown, as she rustled up a baked cheesecake with some delicious fruit on top.

She told her followers: ‘I am in my kitchen attempting to cook – I’m actually making a cake because it’s a certain person’s birthday tomorrow.

‘He loves cheesecake so I am making him a baked cheesecake but I am going to get a little bit of fruit in there as well and some chocolate.’

Laura and Iain, who recently revealed they had got married in secret, are also expecting their first child together at the start of this year.

Making sure Iain’s last birthday before becoming a parent was extra special, Laura decorated their house with banners and multicolured streamers and ordered in a feast for breakfast from Eggslut.

The piece de resistance of course was the baked cheesecake Laura had made, which was beautifully decorated with fruit, marshmallows, chocolate buttons and fizzy jelly sweets piled on top.

Laura and Iain revealed at the start of the year that they had tied the knot, with Laura writing on Instagram: ‘A year ago Iain asked me to marry him and we had the most magical, perfect ceremony. We loved having it to ourselves.

‘We had been planning the perfect celebration and I will forever be so thankful that’s what we got. We have never spoken publicly about our engagement or wedding.

‘Back at the time we never felt the need to say anything as it’s all such a personal experience. We also were too busy enjoying it!’

The couple are reported to have tied the knot at Dublin’s City Hall in front of 25 guests due to restrictions on numbers because of the coronavirus pandemic.
