Newly married Lily Allen just can’t stop creating a buzz after announcing today she is launching her own sex toy.
The Oh My God singer has been working for months on her device, called Liberty, after teaming up with German adult toy manufacturer Womanizer.
‘Sex toys are still seen as a taboo,’ said the 35-year-old mum of two.
‘Female pleasure in itself is a taboo subject. The only way to make subjects no longer taboo is to speak about them openly, frequently and without shame or guilt.’
Lily has been declared Chief Liberation Officer of the company, and will lead the charge on their #IMasturbate campaign, raising awareness for sex positivity and female masturbation.
The Liberty launch is not the only thing that’s been keeping Lily busy recently.
She has been selling personal messages to fans on the Cameo website to pay for her next independent album.
The 35-year-old urged followers to fund her comeback, via app Cameo, and for £83-a-pop promised to ‘send messages, birthday wishes… I’ll ‘do whatever it is that you want me to do’.
She went on: ‘I want to start reading music again. It is the first time in my career I am putting an album out not on a major label. I will be using these funds to finance my musical output.
‘So ask me to do some dumb s***. Your wish is my command and hopefully you’ll get some new music soon.’
As we wait for the album to drop, it was reported that Lily is thinking of packing in the UK for a permanent move to the US with her new husband.
