Linda Nolan has revealed that her cancer has spread.
The 61-year-old singer, who was recently diagnosed with incurable liver cancer, shared that more tumours have been found on her liver, confessing she is ‘scared to death of dying’.
This marks the third time the illness has returned following her initial breast cancer diagnosis in 2006 and a secondary cancer on her pelvis in 2017.
‘I knew when I went into the room for my appointment because I could tell from the consultant’s demeanour,’ Linda shared.
‘He turned to me and said the CT scan had shown something on my liver again. I asked if it was cancer and he said yes.
‘It’s scary, I’m not going to lie. I try to be upbeat and positive but I had a really bad day when I got back.’
Linda continued to the Mirror: ‘I told my sisters I was fine but when I got inside my house, I cried. I needed to have that cry because I’m scared to death of dying.’
She added that she does not want to know her prognosis, but wishes that she’ll be around for ‘a few more Christmases’.
Linda’s sister Anne Nolan was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in April during the coronavirus lockdown. Earlier this month, Anne declared she was cancer free.
The pair tragically lost their younger sister Bernie to cancer in July 2013 aged 54.
