Lisa Marie Presley and Riley Keough were seen paying tribute to Benjamin Keough on what would have been his 28th birthday.

Lisa Marie’s son Benjamin was found dead at his home, aged 27, in Calabasas, California in July.

Reports later confirmed that the young musician – who is the grandchild of late music icon Elvis Presley and Priscilla and brother of actress Riley – had taken his own life.

Thursday marked Benjamin’s birthday and remembering her ‘sweet boy’, Lisa Marie was seen honouring her son in a heartbreaking post on Instagram.

Alongside a picture of Ben posing in a birthday party hat and in front of a cake and candles, Lisa Marie wrote: ‘My beautiful beautiful angel, I worshipped the ground you walked on, on this earth and now in Heaven. My heart and soul went with you.

‘The depth of the pain is suffocating and bottomless without you every moment of every day. I will never be the same.’

She continued: ‘Please wait for me my love, and hold my hand while I stay to continue to protect and raise your little sisters and to be here for Riley. I know you would want that.’

‘Happy Birthday my sweet sweet Boy,’ Lisa penned. ‘You were much too good for this world.’

Benjamin’s sister Riley also took to Instagram with a series of photos of herself and her brother, including throwback snaps from their childhood.

She captioned her tribute: ‘Happy Birthday beautiful angel ⛈❤️⛈.’

Riley is often seen remembering Benjamin on social media and in September, the 31-year-old marked two months since his death.

She revealed that she would ‘give anything’ for ‘one more minute’ with her little brother, after previously stating that Benjamin’s death had left a ‘huge hole in her heart’.

‘Mornings are the hardest, I forget you’re gone. I can’t cry because of the fear that will never stop,’ Riley wrote in a statement.

‘A pain that’s new to me. You. There are no words for you. Angel is the closest I could think of. Pure light. Baby brother. Best friend. Wild man. Intellectual. Witness to my life. Twin soul. Protector. Too sensitive for this harsh world.

‘I hope you give me strength to endure the giant hole you’ve left in my heart.’
