Lorraine Kelly has shared a sweet selfie with her husband Steve Smith to celebrate their wedding anniversary.
Taking to Instagram, the Scottish TV presenter, 61, gushed over ‘my Steve,’ who she married 29 years ago.
Accompanied by a smiley selfie, the journalist wrote: ‘Happy Anniversary to my Steve – the kindest, funniest and most generous man. Still making me laugh after 29 years!’
The comments were flooded with well-wishes from fellow presenter pals, including Cat Deeley and Christine Lampard.
The queen of daytime television met Steve, also 61, in the 80s working on TV-am, and they now live together in Buckinghamshire after relocating from Dundee to be nearer to Lorraine’s work.
Speaking to the Mirror about her marriage to the cameraman, Lorraine credits him for her successful career, admitting: ‘He picks up the slack and always has. I couldn’t do what I do if it weren’t for him.’
She also joked: ‘Steve does all the cooking. I’ll tidy up but I can’t cook to save my life,’ adding that Steve is ‘very kind and a brilliant dad.’
The couple has one daughter, Rosie, 27, together, who Lorraine frequently posts about on Instagram and has also featured on Celebrity Gogglebox.
They married in 1992 in a traditional, small ceremony.
When asked by Femail her secrets to a happy marriage, the broadcaster shared: ‘I say don’t take each other for granted and make each other laugh.’
