Louise Redknapp has opened up to fans about how she’s feeling in lockdown, admitting she’s been ‘struggling’.
The singer, 46, urged fans to speak to someone if they are also finding the current coronavirus pandemic and the restrictions hard.
Sharing a photo of herself in a blue shirt, Louise wrote: ‘Hi guys Happy Friday. I’m definitely struggling at the moment so just wanted to say let’s all try and stick together, stay strong, stay positive and please remember your [sic] not alone there is always someone to talk to! Lots of love xxx’.
Louise’s fans were quick to flood her feed with encouraging comments and say they too have gone through a range of emotions in lockdown.
It comes after she revealed she had reunited with ex-husband Jamie Redknapp for Christmas as they opened presents with their sons.
Louise and Jamie share sons Charley, 16, and Beau, 12, but ended their relationship in 2017 after 19 years of marriage.
She had shared photos and videos from Christmas Day, where Jamie could be seen sitting in an armchair looking on as their sons opened presents by the tree.
The former Eternal singer then revealed she had been banned from the kitchen while Christmas Dinner was being cooked, telling her followers: ‘So today I’ve been told that my job is to stay out of the kitchen and, um, I lay the table and get the drinks.’
The star has revealed that her latest album was inspired by heartbreak following their split, telling Mail Online: ‘You don’t spend 20 years with someone and not care about them still.
‘Yes, there are good days and bad days. And the best songs are written when you’re feeling heartbroken.’
She also added that she would never speak unkindly of Jamie, explaining: ‘If I am asked about that stuff then I’m certainly not going to slander or be unkind.
‘There’s nothing unkind to say. I have a huge respect for Jamie and his family.’
