Love Island’s Malin Andersson has given birth to a baby girl, who was born exactly on her due date.
The happy news was confirmed by her rep, who told the MailOnline in a statement: ‘We are super excited to share that Malin gave birth to a healthy baby girl last Friday, January 28 on her due date.
‘She and her partner are completely in love and are taking this time as a family to enjoy the baby bubble but she can’t wait to share more with everyone soon.’
Although the couple has yet to speak out publicly about the birth of their new baby, Malin had posted a hilarious video the day her baby was born, joking that she was ‘bouncing this baby out’.
In the clip, Malin could be seen sitting on an exercise ball looking nonplussed as she bounced progressively further away from the camera in a field.
The reality star, 29, announced her pregnancy back in August after going public with her romance with friend of four years, Jared, who remains out of the limelight.
She hosted a gender reveal party in January, where she shared with her 80 guests that she was expecting a girl.
Malin was overjoyed with the news, and the experience was made all the more special when she discovered her daughter’s due date was the same as baby Consy, who died in 2019 just one month after being born.
Speaking to OK!, Malin said: ‘From the get-go, I knew it was a girl, I had this gut feeling. So I was super happy. It just made sense to me. I don’t know what it is but my family has a really strong feminine energy and I just thought I was having a girl.
‘To make it even more special, my new baby shares the same due date as my daughter Consy.’
She continued: ‘It is such a coincidence, but felt like a really nice sign, like it’s meant to be.
‘When the plane was circling around the sky, it took ages to show the coloured smoke. Even though I knew what the gender was, because I went to the scan myself when I saw the smoke it brought up loads of emotions.’
She described having a baby girl as ‘like a little miracle and a blessing.’
Malin has been open about her fears of giving birth to her ‘rainbow baby,’ but said ‘Consy lives through me each day’ following the little one’s death due to complications after she was born seven weeks premature.
Malin had Consy with boyfriend Tom Kemp, whom she split from in March 2019.
The TV star celebrated reaching full-term with her baby girl this month with a smiley Insta post.
Showing off her bump, Malin wrote: ‘I MADE IT!!!’ shortly after ‘the most magical Christmas’ of ‘living in the moment.’
The new mum has confessed previously to being nervous about this new chapter, but has been flooded with support and tips from her fans.Credit: Original article published here.
