Mollie Salmon, a former Love Island star, has revealed her new face following fox eye surgery in Turkey.
The 24-year-old media star, who appeared on ITV’s dating programme in 2022, rushed out for the controversial treatment last week and has been updating her TikTok fans on her recuperation.
Mollie originally worried viewers when she posted a brief video barely 24 hours after undergoing surgery, which showed her face wrapped up with tape over her puffy eyes.
However, she appeared to have healed her eyes just a few days later when she released a new TikTok with a full face of make-up.
‘Reading through all my comments saying I’ve ruined my face with fox eye surgery,’ Mollie captioned the video.
‘I had a little cry earlier and then I had a big cry last night, but I’m not crying now,’ she mimed while taking off a pair of sunglasses.
In another video, she mimed, ‘Well, let me reintroduce myself.’
Mollie captioned the latest TikTok using the hashtags ‘#yourfavblondegirl #foxeyesurgery #foxeyesurgeryfacereveal.’
A canthoplasty is a cosmetic treatment that raises and repositions the corner of the eye. It is also known as fox eye, cat eye, or almond eye surgery.
It can rearrange the eyes to make them more slanted, with the operation coming under the category of blepharoplasty, commonly known as an eyelid lift.
According to Dr Kevin Sadati, because to swelling and bruising, healing after fox eye surgery might take up to two weeks.
Because the eye region is wrapped, vision is also slightly limited for one week.
