Oliver Proudlock and Emma Louise Connolly have revealed they are expecting their first child together after sharing a gorgeous video on Instagram.
The Made In Chelsea star, 32, married wife Emma, 30, in a private ceremony in December last year.
It was their fourth attempt at getting married, as Covid restrictions continued to throw spanners in the works, and the couple kept their marriage a secret until a month after they were wed.
Now however, fans of the reality star have been able to get a glimpse of their wedding day, as Emma shared a gorgeous video montage of her and her husband, and announced they were expecting a child together.
The video, posted to Instagram, begins with the moment Emma and Proudlock were declared husband and wife and embraced on the altar, as someone in the crowd shouted ‘Yeah baby!’.
It then switched to a sweet black and white clip of Emma, visibly pregnant, smiling as Proudlock holds up a tiny sweater emblazoned with the words ‘Yeah baby!’.
A stripped-back version of Elvis’s Can’t Help Falling In Love With You plays in the background as the couple laugh and hug, before Proudlock kisses Emma’s bump, with the mum-to-be getting teary.
She wrote: ‘1 year married, 1 yeah baby on the way. We are bursting with love and gratitude for our very precious little growing gift!’
Proudlock shared the reel to his own Instagram page, and added a gorgeous snap of the pair kissing and holding the baby jumper up to the camera.
Congratulations have been flooding in for the happy couple, with model Daisy Lowe writing: ‘Congratulations & happiest anniversary beauties ❤️❤️❤️ So excited to meet little baby Proudlock!’
Influencer Ali Gordon, a friend of the couple, wrote: ‘Congratulations you’re both going to make amazing parents ❤️ yeah BABY’.
And DJ Zara Martin gushed: ‘This is the cutest thing ever! Congrats guys! Best thing in the world!’
Proudlock and Emma tied the knot in St Albans Church in Fulham, London on December 15 2020, with their baby announcement marking one year since their wedding.
However the magical affair almost didn’t happen, as Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced days before the ceremony that England was going back into lockdown.
The couple had originally planned to have 200 guests attend their wedding at Cowdray Park, but were forced to think quick when new rules were introduced, and had their earlier than planned.
Emma told Tatler: ‘All of a sudden we could only have 15 guests and then just days before we were due to get married, Boris dropped the bomb that lockdown was happening and everything would be cancelled again.’
The inscriptions on their wedding rings now bear the wrong date, and Proudlock’s mum had to watch the ceremony from America on a live stream.
However, Proudlock said: ‘We are married and that was the most important thing to us.’
