Megan Thee Stallion reveals she and Cardi B were terrified to film with snakes for WAP video

Megan Thee Stallion had to face their fears on the set of the WAP video as they filmed alongside snakes.

The racy video, which also includes tigers, sees the rappers lying on the floor next to each other surrounded by the slithery creatures.

Megan plucked up the courage for her friend, and in the end she ‘made friends’ with a snake that was resting on her for the shoot.

Bodak Yellow rapper Cardi had a bit of a tougher time, however.

Megan tells The Jonathan Ross Show on Saturday: ‘Ok so what’s crazy is neither one of us had been around snakes before… I was like, “Friend, I don’t know if I can lay in snakes”.

‘But Cardi B asked me to lay in some snakes, I’ve got to lay in the snakes for my girl.. I made friends with one who was on me the whole time. Cardi was so scared.’

The explicit track was met with controversy when it was released, but the Body rapper says WAP – which stands for ‘wet a** p***y’ – is all about the freedom to express yourself.

‘I really appreciate all the positive comments. The song is about women owning their bodies, their sexuality,’ she told host Jonathan.

‘I don’t know why me talking about my WAP is offending anyone. Forget what the haters have to say.’
