Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa are a whole mood in the video for their new track Prisoner.

Wrecking Ball hit-maker Miley, 27, had teased that her new album would include a song featuring Dua, 25, and, boy, it does not disappoint.

The two stars have produced a real power anthem which is set to be the soundtrack for every night out, every post-break up funk and every shower sing-a-long because, yeah, it’s a real tune.

Dropping the video for it, the girls are seen channelling their inner rogue rockstar as they take over tour buses, party in the back and then hit the stage.

Things get a little racy too, with Miley and Dua getting hands-on with one another, Miley covering herself in what we think is some kind of jam and Dua then licking it off her face.

It’s sexy, it’s sassy and it’s pretty much the pair doing whatever the hell they like – oh, and it also includes a shoutout to Miley’s past loves, that include ex-husband Liam Hemsworth and singer Cody Simpson, as the video finishes with the message: ‘In loving memory of all my exes, eat sh*t.’

We told you: a whole mood.

Prisoner is the second single from Miley’s latest album – her seventh studio release – Plastic Hearts, which is set for release at the end of this month on November 27.

Miley had previously said she was ‘super proud’ of her track with Don’t Start Now singer Dua and said it is a ‘perfect blend’ of both artists.

‘I’m super proud of it. I’m really excited for our fans to hear it because they’ve been begging for it,’ she told Spanish radio station CADENA 100.

‘Seriously, it’s all I ever hear from both our fans that they want to hear the record that we did together.’

Miley had also teased the track’s music video at the time, revealing: ‘We were both in New York and we ended up putting something together that I don’t want to give away too much about… but fans can expect something pretty soon.’

Prisoner follows on from the album’s lead single Midnight Sky, that Miley admits was inspired by a ‘horrible and sweaty night out’ she’d had before the coronavirus lockdown.
