Molly-Mae Hague’s fans have been curious about what her new role with PrettyLittleThing actually entails, and she’s finally given the lowdown.
The former Love Island star was announced as the online fashion brand’s new creative director, cementing her biggest deal yet since appearing on the ITV2 series in 2019.
Many have wondered how much control Molly-Mae would have at the company and whether she was just a face to the name.
However, she’s now provided her job description and it sounds like she’ll be a very busy bee.
In an Instagram Q&A on Thursday, one fan asked what it was she would ‘actually’ be doing, to which she replied: ‘So basically I have creative input/lead within multiple areas of the brand eg marketing, buying, influencers.
‘It’s a 24/7 role… sharing ideas, coming up with incredible new concepts, having input on shoots, events, you name it.’
She continued: ‘Seeing everyone’s reactions to the announcement of my role actually enlightened to a lot of things I wanted to get started with straight away within PLT. I’ve read EVERYTHING. We have SO many amazing things coming.
‘PrettyLittleThing is only getting bigger and better from here.’
Molly-Mae previously shared excitement over the role when announcing the news earlier this month.
In a statement, the 22-year-old said: ‘I am so excited to announce my new role as Creative Director of PrettyLittleThing for the UK and EU.
‘It’s a dream to continue working with my favourite brand and we have so much to show you all! This is just the start.’
She added in an Instagram post: ‘PLT have had faith in me from the VERY start and to now be a Director within the business feels like a complete dream come true. I hope you’re all ready for my visions to come to life within this incredible brand…
‘To celebrate this huge news I’m bringing you without a doubt my best collection to date, I’ve worked on this collection now for SO long and I’m beyond proud of it! Now LIVE and available to shop…. I can’t wait to see you all in it!’
That’s not the only exciting business moves Molly-Mae’s made recently as she just announced that her fake tan brand Filter has been restocked. Earlier this week, the influencer became emotional as she watched two of her adverts, for PrettyLittleThing and Filter, air back-to-back on TV.
It comes after Molly-Mae revealed she turned down a £2million endorsement deal after leaving the Love Island villa, simply because she didn’t wear the fashion brand’s clothes.
