Molly-Mae Hague has resigned as the creative director of fashion company Pretty Little Thing.
The hefty contract for the former Love Island star to take up the post was initially disclosed in August 2021.
In January of this year, the 24-year-old welcomed her first child, a girl named Bambi, with her partner, Tommy Fury, also 24, whom she met on the ITV2 show.
In a statement, Pretty Little Thing said that Molly-Mae’s transition from being the creative director of the brand to returning to representing them as a brand ambassador ‘aligns perfectly with Molly-Mae’s personal commitment to her family’.
‘We are thrilled that Molly-Mae will continue to be a part of the PrettyLittleThing family, representing us as a Brand Ambassador. This role will enable her to maintain a strong connection with our brand and customers, while also providing her with the flexibility to focus on personal growth,’ it read.
A spokesperson for the company said that they were ‘eager’ to continue working with Molly-Mae, who also addressed the change in a video posted on YouTube.

It’s been claimed by the Daily Mail that when Molly-Mae first took on the role of creative director, she was being paid £400,000 a month, which equates to just under £5million a year.
In the message shared on her channel, the influencer told her followers: ‘I have an incredible relationship with PLT; they’re like my family. I’ll still be working with them, still creating collections and edits, but I’ve decided to step down from my role as Creative Director.

‘This is a unique time for me with my newborn child, and I feel the need to reorganise my life a bit. The decision to step down from the Creative Director role, which was an amazing chapter for me, was made collectively with PLT. I never took maternity leave and jumped straight back into work.
‘There’s absolutely no drama, no tea. I just want to express my deep gratitude to PLT for giving me this opportunity in the first place. I will forever be grateful to PLT.’
Molly-Mae celebrated her appointment as the creative director of PLT in the United Kingdom and Europe by purchasing a £37,000 bracelet.
‘It’s a dream to continue working with my favourite brand and we have so much to show you all! This is just the start,’ she said at the time.
