Moment Katherine Ryan and daughter very awkwardly catch man masturbating in car park

Katherine Ryan captured the moment she and her daughter Violet caught a man masturbating in a car park.

The 37-year-old comedian had taken her 11-year-old out for a picnic in the car when they noticed some funny business taking place in the vehicle parked next to them.

Luckily, Violet had no idea what was going down and mum Katherine suggested to her that he was crying over a poem. Yep, a good cover up if we ever heard one!

Taking to her Instagram Story, Katherine shared a video of the hilariously awkward conversation she had with Violet as the incident took place.

‘Took my daughter for an enchanting parking lot picnic,’ she wrote alongside the clip. ‘The man in the car next to us was jerking off.’

In the footage, Katherine pretends to Violet that the man in the vehicle was ‘just crying’,

‘No he was not,’ Violet protested.

‘Yeah, he had his head far back,’ Katherine insisted, before lying back in her seat to mimic him.

‘Why was his hand in the under zone then?’ Violet demanded. ‘The underworld.’

‘Because he’s sad about lockdown and he came to the parking lot to cry and he was reaching for maybe a poem,’ Katherine suggested.

Violet continued: ‘Why was he ripping up the poem?’

By this point, Katherine was in hysterics over the situation and laughed: ‘He couldn’t get it!’

Katherine shares daughter Violet with a former boyfriend, who she dated for three years.

‘I really like her and love her, and it’s special that I’ve been alone with her for a long time, so we have a little bit of a sisterly relationship – which I know can be dangerous when she gets older, but I’m risking it,’ she told the Mirror last year.

‘We live in a democracy. I always say, we’re not a mum and a 10-year-old.

‘We’re two 10-year-olds, but one of us has a credit card and a driving licence. We’re unstoppable.’
