The former Girls Aloud star, 35, split from the American football player, 42, who she shares seven-year-old daughter Anaiya with in 2019 after 11 years together but revealed that living together again amid the pandemic has been ‘lovely’.
Nadine told OK: ‘Well, due to Covid-19, Jason has been here for a while. We share Anaíya so we have those rules there for people to be able to parent their children.’
She admitted they were ‘very close’ and having a ‘lovely time’ and eating dinner together as a family every night, but didn’t elaborate on a reconciliation.
Nadine added: ‘He’s a great father to Anaíya – he’s helping her with school work as we speak. Jason and I will always be in each other’s lives.
‘When you have a baby together and spend so much time together, there’s always that familiarity there.
‘With so much going on in the world we’re just trying to be in the moment and be there for Anaíya.’
Nadine says she is the one who has been doing most of the cooking for the family while Jason has been looking after the shopping and helping Anaiya with her school work, and that her parents support their family set-up.
The former couple have always maintained a close bond even after ending their romantic relationship, even being spotted holding hands in 2020, but have never spoken out about getting back together.
Nadine also revealed that she maintains the closest contact with former bandmate Sarah Harding, who is undergoing treatment for breast cancer.
She says Sarah is doing well and that her health battle has made Nadine appreciate how short life is, while the rest of Girls Aloud have also rallied around the singer.
