Harper Beckham, David and Victoria Beckham‘s youngest child, turned 12 on Monday, and to celebrate, her sister-in-law Nicola Peltz shared a charming collection of images of the couple.
One snapshot showed 28-year-old Nicola, who is married to Brooklyn Beckham, and Harper flaunting some stick-on butterfly tattoos to the camera, which caused quite a commotion.
Nicola was wearing a temporary tattoo on her back in the black-and-white photo, while Harper had one on her right side, but many of the former’s Instagram followers didn’t realise they weren’t *actual* tattoos.
Nicola captioned her post: ‘Happy birthday to my baby sis Harper 7. You are the most amazing girl I am so lucky to have you in my life. I love you more than you even know! (Can we always match forever??)’
Before long, someone had taken it upon themselves to reply to Nicola’s post fuming: ‘Surely a 12 year does not have a real tattoo?’
Someone else added: ‘A 12 yr old getting a tattoo. You’re a beautiful girl but the tattoo is a no for me.’
‘7 years old and she has tattoos? WTF!’ another social media user said, getting Harper’s age totally wrong, while someone else queried: ‘Harper has a tatt????’
Other comments included: ‘Wait, is this even legal?’ and ‘There should be some kind of law that is put in place with minors and tattoos.’
Fortunately, not everyone thought Harper’s small inking was real!

‘Goodness sake, it isn’t a real tattoo, have some common sense people,’ replied one social media user, with another echoing, ‘Cannot believe that so many people here cannot tell the difference between the real tatt and transferrable.’
Both Harper’s famous parents made sure to celebrate her big day this week, with Victoria writing on social media: ‘Happy Birthday Harper Seven.
‘The sweetest, kindest soul. Your love and energy is a blessing to everyone lucky enough to know and love you.’
Meanwhile, doting dad David said: ‘Happy Birthday my pretty lady. Keep being beautiful inside and out. You are the most amazing little girl a daddy could wish for.’
