Paloma Faith ‘praying for speedy recovery’ as six-week-old daughter ‘finally’ discharged from hospital

Paloma Faith’s six-week-old daughter has been discharged from hospital after she was rushed in with an ear infection earlier this week.

The 39-year-old singer said she’s praying for a speedy recovery’ as shared the update with her fans on her newborn baby girl’s condition.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Paloma wrote: ‘Finally out of the hospital but she has to IV meds every day for a week. [sad face]

‘Praying for a speedy recovery. #nhsheroes #nhs #saveournhs.’

Paloma initially revealed on Friday that her little one had been taken ill. The artist shared a picture from a hospital room and said she was ‘bloody sad’ that she and her baby had to stay in due to the issue.

‘Back in the hospital with my new baby she has an infection of some kind and we have to stay in,’ she penned.

‘Bloody sad she’s so small and so sweet.’

Paloma and her partner Leyman Lahcine welcomed their second child together in February after going through six rounds of IVF.

Their first child, also a girl, arrived in December 2016.

The Stone Cold Sober singer has been candid about her post-partum experiences after welcoming her second daughter via a planned C-section in February, and has been struggling with breastfeeding and her baby suffering from reflux.

Earlier in the week, Paloma voiced her stress at her daughter refusing the breast and having to switch entirely to bottle-feeding.

Since giving birth, Paloma has suffered with engorgement of the breasts and thrush, while she is also recovering from the C-section.
