PewDiePie awarded ‘most handsome face of 2020′, beating Chris Hemsworth and BTS’ V

YouTuber PewDiePie officially has the best face of 2020 according to a poll, with the online star beating Avengers’ Chris Hemsworth and both the gorgeous faces of V and Jungkook from BTS to the top spot.

Not a bad way to round out the year, right?

The popular streamer reacted to the plaudit, after TC Chandler – which releases lists of very, very beautiful people each year – crowned him with the ‘most handsome face in the world’, also beating the likes of Idris Elba and Jason Momoa.

According to the list’s description, 100 faces were plucked from 125,000 celebrity mugs to make up the coveted ranking.

After counting down through the top 100, the mighty Pewds – real name Felix Kjellberg – was named as this year’s winner ahead of BTS’ V in second spot, Chris Hemsworth in third and another BTS star, Jungkook in fourth.

Idris, who has topped many a good looking list over the years, came in at number 13, as some very, very dramatic music played in the background.

Reacting to the impressive moment on his channel, PewDiePie – who has appeared on the list multiple times before – said: ‘Yes! We finally did it! Number one baby.’

Going through the list, the star – who was listed as a ‘YouTuber, Minecrafter, Merch Flogger’, went through all the people he beat.

He went on: ‘Chris Pine? More like Chris no spine.’

Good one, Pewds.

He then went into the comments, awaiting on people to ‘rip him’ as he essentially prepared to roast himself.

The top 10 also included Paing Takhon, Timothee Chalamet, Xiao Zhan, Jason Derulo and Henry Cavill.

It’s been a big year for PewDiePie, who took a breather from his channel before returning to YouTube in a big way in 2020.

Earlier last year he celebrated 10 years on the platform – where he now boasts 108million subscribers – and reflected on the decade which saw him once threaten to delete his channel after becoming fed up with internet fame.

However, it all turned around, as he went on: ‘2019 baby, that’s where we came back.

‘That’s when I went from – I would never have guessed – from this guy in Sweden to marrying this amazing, gorgeous woman from Italy, [and I’ve] gone through all these amazing experiences.’

‘I realise at the end of it what I enjoy doing is creating content for my channel – I’ve always prioritised that,’ Felix continued. ‘I know this sounds really cringe and cliche…but I wouldn’t enjoy it if it wasn’t for you guys watching.’
