Phillip Schofield returned to social media amid allegations about his This Morning job difficulties.
The 61-year-old broadcaster is said to be worried about his future on ITV’s breakfast show, which also features Holly Willoughby, 42.
He reactivated his Instagram account and posted two photos of himself and his daughter Molly, 30, enjoying supper and red wine.
On Saturday night, the famous TV personality dressed down for the occasion, wearing a grey sweatshirt and holding out his glass for his fans to see.
The joyful family snapshot comes as The Mail on Sunday alleged he was experiencing work issues behind the scenes and was at odds with ITV about reshuffling the popular show’s hosts.
After sitting on the sofa for nearly two decades, producers apparently saw the show’s million-plus viewers becoming bored of the seasoned presenter.
Holly is preparing to return to her co-hosting duties on Monday after recovering from shingles.
Her sick leave caused her to miss Phillip’s first day back at work following a three-week absence to cope with his brother’s convictions for child sex charges.
Timothy Schofield, 54, was convicted earlier this month of 11 sexual crimes involving a minor between October 2016 and October 2019, including two counts of sexual conduct with a juvenile.
On Monday, his older brother appeared on This Morning with former The Saturdays vocalist Rochelle Humes.
The celebrity was supposed to appear alongside frequent girlfriend Holly, but she was still unwell at the time.
He said: ‘Holly isn’t well today so is sadly off today and perhaps a few more days with a bout of shingles. Ouch.
‘So if you are watching at home, Holly, then get well soon. The whole team sends their love. And thank you, Rochelle, for coming to play.
‘I wanted to say that it is really lovely to be back. I have missed the show, everyone here, and also to you (the viewers).
‘And I wanted to say thank you for all your kind messages and support, which were really appreciated, so thank you very much indeed. On with the show.’
After more than five and a half hours of deliberation, a jury found Schofield guilty on all counts with a majority of 10-2 on April 3.
