Pregnant Charlotte Crosby shuts down rumours she’s revealed baby’s gender with balloons: ‘Where are you all getting this from?’

Charlotte Crosby has insisted that she does not know the gender of her baby after fans assumed she was hinting it is a boy.

The pregnant reality TV star had posted a series of snaps of her Ibiza hotel suite which was filled with several metallic balloons, including two blue ones.

The 32-year-old, who flew to Ibiza with boyfriend Jake Anders for pal Holly Hagan’s wedding, captioned the images: ‘TOUCH DOWN IN IBIZA

‘FOR A VERY VERY SPECIAL WEEKEND TO CELEBRATE THE LOVE OF @hollygshore & @blythy9. I think I’m gunna shed ALOT of tears this trip to see how beautiful our holly is going to look!

‘Can’t believe how much we are all growing up I have goosebumps.’

The snaps triggered speculation that the blue balloons meant the former Geordie Shore star was subtly telling fans she was expecting a boy.

Charlotte, who was actually given the balloons as a surprise gift by Jake, whom she started dating at the end of last year, felt compelled to post a video on her Instagram stories to shut the chatter down.

She said in a video: ‘Guys you have to stop this now.

‘Oh God, so now because I said I don’t want to give too much away… we don’t know the gender of the baby.

‘We have no clue. And now just because there’s a balloon in the room that does not mean it’s a boy there’s five pink balloons too surely the equation would be that it’s a girl.

‘I don’t know where you are all getting this from, what the hell. Come on, all will be revealed.’

She added: ‘I’m not angry at all, it’s funny that you keep all picking up on these little things and clues and everyone keeps saying “boy”.’

The MTV star has kept the gender of her baby a secret since her 12-week scan, and said she can’t wait to share the news when she has a gender reveal party.

Charlotte had first revealed she was pregnant in April and later admitted it’s not all been plain sailing.

She recently told her followers about some the unpleasant moments she’s been experiencing during her pregnancy, explaining: ‘Heartburn decided to pop up this week and it looks like it’s sticking around, on top of that my sickness has crept back in with a vengeance.

‘I’ve admitted defeat with that part to be honest I’m not wishing for it to go away now I’ve just accepted it. My hormones, my god don’t even get me started.’

Sharing a photo of her looking fed up, Charlotte added: ‘I feel a mess and really really exhausted, mix that with a busy schedule and never being home is just a recipe for disaster.

‘Jake is literally the most caring and attentive human to have ever walked the earth and without him this week I actually would of crumbled… (sic)’

‘Pregnancy can be a hard old journey can’t it?!’

Charlotte then reached out to other mothers for advice, adding: ‘But please any mamas or soon to be mamas relate?!

‘When did your sickness end?! Best things for heartburn?! Do you go back to a normal non raging ball of anger when the baby arrives and start being nice and living again to everyone around you?!

‘Did anyone else’s appetite just completely weird out and just find you never actually knew what you fancied and wanted to eat?!’

Charlotte previously suffered an ectopic pregnancy with ex-boyfriend Gary Beadle, who she had dated on and off after meeting on Geordie Shore.
