Laura Whitmore had us all giggling as she shared a funny baby bump update to mark her reaching the third trimester of her pregnancy.
The Love Island host, 35, is expecting her first child with husband Iain Stirling, 33, and has been sharing the odd pregnancy update as she heads towards her due date.
Showing off her cute baby bump in her latest post, Laura revealed she has now hit her third trimester and admitted it has taken her a while to ‘get her head’ around how her body is changing.
While she said that pregnancy has been such a ‘personal time’ for her so far, Laura threw some comedy into her update, as she posed in a pair of pants that had ‘coming soon’ printed across the front and joked the sentiment now has a ‘whole new meaning’.
Stood in a printed T-shirt and her slogan knickers for a mirror selfie, Laura captioned her post: ‘COMING SOON… only really started taking pics of bump in third trimester. It’s such a personal time.
‘One thing I’ve been told is to take pictures or I’ll regret not having the memories of the journey. Takes a while to get your head around the body changes.’
She joked: ‘Woke up and realised I was wearing my old pants from @thehappyvagina and think they have a VERY different meaning now…’
Fans flocked to the comments to tell Laura how ‘amazing’ she looks, with many agreeing that she should document her baby bump as much as possible, with some followers sharing their regrets that they hadn’t done the same while pregnant.
Laura’s post comes after she was forced to defend sharing photos of her baby bump from trolls, after some cruelly claimed they were ‘already bored’ of seeing her pregnancy updates.
The Celebrity Juice captain, however, had no time for her haters, as she warned those spreading negativity that she no qualms about publicly calling them out on social media.
Clapping back, Laura posted: ‘Thanks for all the love this week. To the few people who are offended by a pregnant woman’s body and someone taking control of their own narrative, you need to take a good hard look at yourself.
‘Ask yourself why you choose to put negativity out into the world ? Maybe, just maybe, you can change your mindset, become a better person (I do hope) and make the world a little nicer. I’m more than happy to use my platform to call out people and will continue to do so.’
Laura made sure to add: ‘But I also bloody love the community I have here. (sometimes the few negatives get more attention than they should!) We all have a responsibility and I love that I can have a voice that I can use and appreciate so many wonderful folk who do the same to lift others!’
She first revealed she was pregnant in December – later confirming news that she and Iain had secretly married in Dublin in November, throwing a ‘perfect wedding; after three years of dating.
