Rebel Wilson is celebrating already reaching her goal weight, after setting herself a target at the beginning of the year.
The Pitch Perfect actress, 40, declared 2020 as her ‘year of health’ and has been keeping fans updated on her fitness journey throughout the last 12 months.
She is currently in Austria – the place that first inspired her health kick – after vowing to return to the holistic wellness return so she could finish off her year ‘strong’.
Judging by her latest fitness update, Rebel has done exactly that as she revealed to her followers that she has already reached her goal weight of 75kgs.
The comedian explained to fans that she set herself the goal, so she could have a ‘tangible measurement’ to focus towards, and has hit it before she had planned to.
Rebel Wrote: ‘Hit my goal with one month to spare! Even though it’s not about a weight number, it’s about being healthy, I needed a tangible measurement to have as a goal and that was 75kg.’
She continued: ‘I wanna go live on Insta on Tuesday night when I’m back in the US to share stuff with you guys and thank everyone for their support.’
Despite her lifestyle overhaul, Rebel has vowed not to get ‘too skinny’. She opened up about her decision to get in shape while appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show and admitted that in the past she has been guilty of ’emotional eating’.
‘I never really focused on my health which was probably obvious,’ Rebel said.
‘I have a very sweet tooth, I love desserts. I’ve tried, like so many women out there, fads and diets and things before and I’m like I need to do a really holistic approach this time.’
Rebel said of her previous relationship with food: ‘I think what I mainly suffered from was emotional eating and dealing with the stress of becoming famous internationally. There is a lot of stress that comes with it and I guess my way of dealing with it was just like eating donuts.’
‘I love my curves and stuff, I don’t think I’ll ever go too skinny but I feel so much healthier,’ she insisted.
Rebel’s personal trainer recently revealed what her intense new training regime looks like and a typical week for the star includes five HIIT sessions a week, as well as one day of weight and resistance training.
