Rihanna has celebrated Joe Biden’s inauguration and Donald Trump’s departure from the White House by taking out the trash in a glam photo.
The Umbrella hitmaker donned an ‘End Racism’ shirt, tights and heels, accessorising with a glitzy necklace and huge sunnies as she clung onto two bin bags in the iconic photo.
Throwing some shade in the caption, she penned: ‘I’m just here to help,’ before quoting Vice President Kamala Harris and adding: ‘#wediditJoe.’
RiRi’s post comes as the President and Vice President have been sworn into office at the historic inauguration.
Celebs came out in their droves to support the pair, with Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Justin Timberlake and John Legend performing at the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Oprah Winfrey and Reese Witherspoon have led the stars congratulating the new President and VP.
Reese wrote on Instagram: ‘This show of unity is so inspiring. Such a powerful moment for the women of this country to be represented in the highest office.’
Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria welcomed the swearing in of the new President and Vice President.
She tweeted: ‘Today, we make history! Today, we celebrate leaders like President Joe Biden and our first Madam Vice President, Kamala Harris. Today is only the beginning.’
Oprah Winfrey said she was ‘in tears watching this extraordinary moment for women in the US and the world’ alongside an image of Kamala Harris taking the oath.’
Actress Kerry Washington said there is ‘much work to do’ as she wrote: ‘But TODAY I want to celebrate. And pray. And revel in our tremendous power (even against all odds) to make history happen.’
Biden has begun by signing executive orders making masks compulsory and scrapping the ‘Muslim ban’, which barred travellers from seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the US, in his first hours in office.
