Rylan Clark-Neal has spent the past 14 days in self-isolation, so you can imagine his delight in finally getting back his freedom.
Oh yes, the TV presenter, 32, has completed his quarantine period and eager to get back to business as usual, Rylan was seen celebrating his freedom by tearing up some shapes on a golf course – because why not.
Taking to Twitter, Rylan shared the funny video of him busting a move with fans and posted alongside it: ‘GUESS WHOS BACK #RYsolation.’
We see what you did there, Rylan.
It comes after Rylan was forced to skip out on his usual presenting duties for Strictly spin-off It Takes Two.
He usually hosts the show on Thursdays and Fridays – with Gethin Jones stepping in to replace him – as Rylan explained that he needed to self-isolate after somebody he had been in recent contact with tested positive for Covid-19.
Rylan revealed that he had tested negative, but was self-isolating in adherence with government guidelines and as a precautionary measure.
Updating fans via Twitter, Rylan had posted: ‘I found out this week that someone I have been in recent contact with outside of work has tested positive for coronavirus. I am therefore now following the government guidelines and having to self isolate.’
‘I have sought a Covid test and thankfully that has returned a negative result,’ he continued. ‘That does mean I will miss the next two weeks of Strictly It Takes Two and my BBC Radio 2 Saturday show.’
Rylan said he was looking forward to getting back to work soon and had wished all the Strictly contestants good luck.
The pair were axed from the competition as a result, with Nicola later vowing to ‘keep breaking boundaries’ after making history as the show’s first same-sex couple.
