Sarah Beeny’s son made the most of his first Glastonbury, taking advantage of the chance for a cheeky stage dive.
Rafferty, 14, and his band Entitled Sons performed at Worthy Farm over the weekend.
The group, which also includes Billy, 18, Charlie, 16, Laurie, 12, and dad Graham, 50, is made up of TV presenter Sarah’s children and her husband, with the moniker making light of her celebrity.
They made it to Glasto on their own, though, after winning the Pilton Stage competition and competing against hundreds of other aspirants for a stage at the Avalon Café.
The group shared a number of amusing photographs from their shoot, which appeared to be a very fantastic event.
Rafferty, a teenager, was dragged across the throng after loosing all inhibitions and hurling himself at revellers.
In their Instagram caption, the band described it as ‘the one where Raffey stole the show by crowd surfing’.
A video of the crazy scene shows the audience screamed and cheered as they carried Rafferty over their heads.
‘I always knew Raffey was the one to watch! 😂😂’, one follower wrote in the comments.
‘That could have gone very wrong 😂’, another joked.
‘OMG @sarah.beeny it looks like they are having the time of their lives! ❤️’, one added.
Additional photos show the band rocking up while playing guitars, drums, and keys as they sang songs like These Days, which raises money for Cancer Research UK.
The song, which was released earlier this month, is especially personal to the family because Sarah was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and is now receiving treatment.
Sarah says she ‘broke into tears’ when she first heard the music at Glasto last week.
Singer Charlie, 17, revealed that they wanted the revenues to go to Cancer Research UK because they wanted to ‘give back,’ joking that they’re all’relatively dumb’ and won’t end up ‘becoming doctors or scientists,’ but that their music may make a good difference.
Graham, Sarah’s father and bassist, stated, “What’s particularly important about it is Sarah’s mother died when she was 39 from breast cancer.” All of this study has continued, the kids still have a mother, and I still have a wife.
‘You cannot overstate how grateful we are to cancer research and to the NHS,’ he said, praising the ‘wonderful, wonderful team.’
After their maiden Glastonbury performance, Entitled Sons are striving for even greater heights and hope to return to the Somerset event with a lengthier set one day.
Who knows, maybe they’ll be on the Pyramid Stage one year.
