Scarlett Moffatt has urged her fans to never let their negative thoughts stop them from having fun in life in a rousing body positive post.
The TV star took the plunge on her holiday in swimwear, and shared the picture on Instagram for her 2 million followers while giving them all a word of advice.
The former Gogglebox regular was captured jumping with arms in the air ahead of her snorkelling exercise to mark the moment that would serve as inspiration later on.
Scarlett posted the picture alongside a motivating caption for people of all shapes and sizes to embrace who they are, just as they are.
‘Don’t let your mind bully your body,’ she wrote.
‘Don’t ever worry so much about your physical appearance that you let it stop you doing something you love or from having fun or from seeing friends or family or trying to find love. Don’t think aww I’ll do that once I look a certain way. Because YOU my friend are bloody PERFECT just as you are RIGHT NOW #perfect.’
Scarlett recently shared that she wants to normalise ‘boob gaps’ (Picture: scarlettmoffatt/Instagram).
Her sentiments at sea echoed a recent post she shared on Instagram about embracing curves and normalising ‘boob gaps’.
In the post, the Samaritans Charity Ambassador can be seen standing in front of a mirror in a black plunge-neck jumpsuit, exposing her cleavage to raise awareness.
She captioned the photo, taken during her holiday with her boyfriend Scott: ‘I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Let’s normalise boob gaps!! Some of comments I’ve received are horrific, but I don’t care because after years of struggling with self image I’m finally at a place where I want to shout from the roof tops… you are perfect just as you are!
‘Let’s normalise the fact that everybody’s body is a beach body.
‘Also me and scott keep doing that holiday thing where we go “this time last week we were sat round @sandals_uk pool ?” #gifted #beachbody.’
Adventure seeker Scarlett also recently enjoyed a day out to Buckland Park in Surrey where she was filmed ziplining on a sofa instead of a harness.
The I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here winner was part of a stunt that highlighted the nation’s ‘unbreakable bond’ with their sofas, as the public started to emerge from life after lockdown.Credit: Original article published here.
