Chrishell Stause has explained how she was able to have a gathering over Christmas amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Selling Sunset star posted a festive photo on Instagram of herself with her family and new boyfriend Keo Mostepe cuddled up on the sofa in matching onesies.
It came as she introduced the professional dancer, who she met on Dancing With The Stars, to her nearest and dearest over the festive period.
The 39-year-old captioned the photo: ‘Introduced @keo_motsepe to the fam. He fit right in ???? Merry Christmas everyone from mine to yours!!! Sending you all so much love?’.
The Netflix star later edited the caption to explain how they all able to be together, saying that the people in the photo are her ‘immediate family’ and they were all tested for coronavirus before and after they got together.
‘To those bringing up Covid concerns, I understand and agree this was not a good use of my platform,’ she began.
‘I normally always try to be socially responsible with my posts because I am naturally a compassionate person. I can see how this does not show that to some.
‘I understand you won’t agree, but at least so you can see where I am coming from – This is my immediate family and we all are able to test before and after. This is the first Christmas without our mom we felt important to be there for each other in a tough year.’
Chrishell continued: ‘Keo brought such welcomed happiness and selfishly I posted in a very happy moment. Please be safe and I am sending all my love to my supporters & critics. I hear all of you and can appreciate feedback from both sides.’
Some of her followers criticised the festive post as rising coronavirus cases in the US has meant many were forced to spend Christmas apart from their families.
However many were glad to see Chrishell happy with her new love.
She went public with Keo at the start of December following the end of her marriage to Justin Hartley.
