Seth Rogen has shared how he and his wife are ‘f***ing psyched’ not to have kids as they would get in the way of their careers – as well as some of their preferred extracurricular activities.
The Bad Neighbours star, 39, and his screenwriter, producer and actor wife Lauren Miller, 38, have been married since 2011 and have no desire to become parents.
He also attributed his ability to get so much done in his career – acting, producing, pottery, writing a book – to his child-free status.
Seth explained that when people asked him how he did so much, the answer is that he doesn’t have kids.
‘I have nothing else to do,’ he said, while speaking on The Howard Stern Show.
Delving into the reasons behind their decision, Seth continued: ‘I don’t know anyone who gets as much happiness out of their kids as we get out of our non-kids.

‘Like, we’re f***ing psyched all the time!
‘We’re laying in bed on Saturday mornings smoking weed, watching movies naked.
‘If we had kids, we could not be f***ing doing this.’
As well as recognising that their lifestyle choices might not be compatible with having children, Seth also pointed out that ‘there’s enough kids out there’.
He continued: ‘We need more people? Who looks at the planet right now and thinks, “You know what we need? More f***ing people.”
‘That’s truly a confounding thing to me.’
Seth also shared that Lauren was more set on not having kids than he was, saying that he ‘could wrap his head around it’ but she was less keen.
‘I would say she wants kids less than I do. I could probably be talked into it; she’s like no.’
As well as enjoying their down time together, Seth’s book Yearbook was released this month and he’s busy with multiple producing projects including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee relationship mini-series Pam & Tommy.
