Sharon Osbourne has said that she fasts three days a week.
The 70-year-old former X Factor judge has made news recently after saying she lost weight on the medicine Ozempic.
Sharon, who is married to singer Ozzy Osbourne, admitted last week that she goes days without eating.
The actress made the remark while speaking with her children, Jack and Kelly Osbourne.
Speaking in an exclusive clip of their family audio show, The Osbournes Podcast, shared with MailOnline, the group noted the world would ‘descend into chaos’ if people were forced to go without nine meals in a row.
Jack, 37, said: ‘If you have something that someone wants, they’ll kill you for it. You know how far away we are as a society from complete and utter breakdowns? Nine meals.
‘When you break it down, you are nine meals away from complete and utter breakdown. That’s three days of breakfast, lunch and dinner. That goes away for people, they go three days without eating, they will murder each other, their neighbours, everything.’
It was then that Sharon noted: ‘God, I do that every week. At least three days without eating.’
‘That’s called intermittent fasting,’ said their guest Jason Kennedy.
Sharon revealed earlier this month that she fears she has shed too much weight.
She’s been vocal about her significant weight reduction in recent months, but she’s now doubting how far she’s come.
Sharon made a quick statement about her weight when appearing on Piers Morgan Uncensored with her family, including Jack and Kelly.
‘It’s simply time to stop, I didn’t actually plan to become this thin, but it just happened,’ Sharon said on the show, showing off her trim body.
‘I’ll probably put it all on again soon!’ she added.
Her remarks came after Sharon revealed that she used Ozempic, a therapy for type 2 diabetes that some individuals have been utilising to lose weight, to obtain her new shape.
Sharon claimed in an interview earlier this year that the medicine had helped her lose 30 pounds (two stone).

Drugs like Ozempic and the prescription pharmaceutical Wegovy have risen to the forefront of public attention after celebrities and influencers promoted them as a ‘fast and simple’ method to drop a few pounds.
However, these pills are solely intended for diabetics, and a scarcity is now being caused by others attempting to obtain a supply.
