In a candid family talk, Sharon Osbourne stated that she ‘never’ wears knickers.
The 71-year-old wife of singer Ozzy Osbourne and mother of three has lately been vocal about her drastic 30-pound weight reduction, saying she “didn’t want to be this thin.”
Former X Factor judge Sharon had been using Ozempic, a medicine given as a therapy for type 2 diabetes but used by others to reduce weight, in her search for a new figure.
In the same spirit of candour, she chatted with Ozzy and two of their three adult children, Jack, 37, and Kelly, 38, on the newest installment of their Osbournes Podcast.
When discussing pastimes, Sharon reminded her family of her interest for collecting Royal Family artefacts from all ages, and the conversation turned to the fact that pairs of Queen Victoria’s underwear had been auctioned off over the years.
She then branded the fact that they had likely been stolen to be sold ‘disgusting’, before new mum Kelly quipped: ‘I’m going to sell your knickers, Mum.’
Cool as a cucumber, Sharon then hit back: ‘I never wear ‘em.’
Taking a second to digest her response, Kelly then replied with an ‘Oh My God Mother!’ as Jack added: ‘You heard it here, folks.’
Sharon then showed her preferred knickers, over knickers.
‘No, I wear Spanx tights instead,’ she explained.
Kelly was not a fan of her mum’s undergarment choice though, exclaiming: ‘You must be sweaty 24/7! I couldn’t do it.’
Ozzy then chimed in with, ‘I wear suspender belts and stockings,’ and it wasn’t entirely clear if he was joking or not.
Manager Sharon has also stated that she is unable to gain weight after using Ozempic, “no matter what I eat.”
The grandma claims she has “fought weight my entire life” and has undergone gastric banding, gastric sleeve surgery, and diet pills to lose weight.
‘I’m stuck at this weight. And it’s like, my entire life I’ve wanted to be a certain weight, never got there, and now I have and it doesn’t suit me and I don’t like it and I can’t change it,’ she admitted in an emotional interview on TalkTV.
She has also just announced that she and her husband, Ozzy, will continue with their euthanasia plan if they develop a neurological ailment.
The couple, who have been married since 1982 and have a daughter named Aimee, 40, devised an assisted dying plan more than a decade ago in case any of them became too unwell to function cognitively.
