Sir David Jason has provided an incredible health update.
In August, the 83-year-old Only Fools and Horses performer said that he’d been equipped with bionic eyes to help him stop crying excessively.
It’s also been rumoured that Sir David just had hip surgery, which might explain why he’s on crutches in the new clip.
But, when the Rocky theme song began to play, Sir David, whose new video was shot in front of a garage, hobbled into frame before dumping his crutches on the floor and boldly walking towards the camera.
To the surprise of supporters, Sir David began punching the air and flexing his pecs.
The clip was shared on the Only Fools and Horses News Twitter account alongside a caption that read: ‘A little video from Sir David Jason after his successful surgery Let’s send him some love.’
According to MailOnline, Sir David recently underwent hip surgery.
Over the summer, the Del Boy actor discussed his eye surgery after being forced to cancel an Only Fools and Horses convention owing to his health.
He revealed on social media that he required a ‘canalicular bypass’.
‘Stay with me, it’s not quite as painful it sounds,’ he continued.
‘The canal in-question was in my eye, where a little blockage had started causing it to get a bit weepy.
‘You can sort that out pretty straightforwardly by having Jones tubes inserted.’
He joked that when speaking to an eye specialist ‘the ghost of my early years as a jobbing electrician awoke’, as reported by the Daily Star.
Sir David then explained: ‘Jones tubes do a very good job but have one drawback – they tend to come out. I found myself standing there, saying, “You want to get a flange on that, mate”.
‘Two years later, I was back for a re-fit and the doctor was showing me the latest tubes hot out of the factory – and they had flanges on, to hold them in place a bit better.
‘I hate to say I told you so, but…’
