Sir Paul McCartney’s ex-wife Heather Mills is reportedly set to wed again, after exchanging commitment rings with her younger boyfriend Mike Dickman.
While not formally engaged, it’s claimed that Heather, 53, and Mike, 36, have given each other the rings as a symbol of their hopes to marry.
It’s thought the pair made the romantic exchange following a holiday to Portugal in September, with sources revealing the pair – who have been dating for 18-months – are ‘incredibly happy’.
An insider told The Sun: ‘Heather and Mike are incredibly happy. It’s so good to see a smile on her face again after a turbulent few years.’
‘They’re completely in love. Heather has told pals he’s the love of her life whilst, for his part, Mike adores her and is completely devoted,’ they added.
‘Heather’s incredibly young at heart and gets on with all his mates – their 17-year age gap really isn’t an issue.’
Heather and film producer Mike are believed to have first met on train, with Heather reaching out to him by leaving a note with her contact details and telling Mike she thinks he’s ‘hot’.
The former Dancing On Ice contestant is yet to address reports she and Mike – who was reportedly seen showing off his commitment ring, worn on his wedding finger, on social media – are set to wed.
She was last seen on Instagram celebrating her 53rd birthday during a business trip to Dubai. Posing with a cake, Heather wrote: ‘Vegan wine and cake on my 53rd birthday what else could I ask for .. ?✨❤️?.
‘It’s been great being in Dubai on business pushing Plant Based and keeping employment alive in UK with manufacturing ???. Really proud to have finally achieved getting sustainable vegan products in Spinney’s / Waitrose. I’m very grateful for the help from my dedicated team, without you it wouldn’t have happened ?❤️.
‘Sending my love to everyone and stay safe ?✨? Lots of love, Heather.’
Heather was previously married to The Beatles star and music icon Sir Paul, who she shares daughter Beatrice with.
The pair wed in 2002, but split four years later in 2006 and their divorce was finalised in February 2008, with Heather receiving a settlement of £24.3million.
Speaking about her marriage to Sir Paul in 2015 and their acrimonious split, Heather told The Guardian: ‘I don’t want to go into my second marriage too much because if you haven’t got something nice to say about someone you shouldn’t say anything at all, and it had a lot to do with the person I married.’
