The Spice Girls are reportedly set to reunite at Brooklyn Beckham’s wedding this year, with all members receiving invitations.
Victoria Beckham’s son, 22, will tie the knot to actress Nicola Peltz, 27, this April, and the fashion designer is said to have invited her former bandmates to celebrate the big day with them.
According to The Sun On Sunday, Emma Bunton, Mel B, Mel C and Geri Horner are looking forward to the wedding, which is set to be a rather lavish affair.
A source told the publication: ‘It was a lovely invitation and the girls are all excited to attend.
‘It will be the first time they have all been together socially for some time, so they are looking forward to the chance to really catch up.’
They added: ‘While Nicola has opted to wear two Valentino dresses on the big day, they will have their pick of Victoria Beckham dresses if they like.’
Former Spice Girl Victoria, 47, who designed Nicola’s engagement dress, as well as pal Eva Longoria’s wedding dress in 2016, and is said to be ‘fully supportive’ of Nicola’s decision to go with Valentino.
The lovebirds’ wedding is set to go ahead on April 9, and it’s unconfirmed whether the Spice Girls will take to the stage for a performance.
However, perhaps the pop icons will get up for a singalong once the karaoke comes out.
Vogue has reportedly requested exclusive rights to Brooklyn and Nicola’s big day, with The Sun also claiming that Brooklyn’s younger brothers Romeo, 19, and Cruz, 16, have been asked to be best men, while Nicola’s brother Brad will accompany her down the aisle.
The ceremony is said to be taking place at Nicola’s billionaire father Nelson Peltz’s sprawling beachside estate in Florida.
A source revealed to the publication: ‘Understandably Nicola and Brooklyn want the entire day to be perfect and their attention to detail is quite astonishing.
‘Money is obviously no object, but nonetheless they want the day to be a celebration of love, not wealth.’
Brooklyn and Nicola had planned to be husband and wife by now after getting engaged in July 2020, but decided to hold off until Covid restrictions allowed them to have the wedding of their dreams.
The couple are regularly gushing over one another on social media, with son of the footballing legend recently sharing a gushing tribute to Nicola for her birthday in January, where he said he fell ‘more in love’ with the TV star ‘every single day’.
He also unveiled a new tattoo in memory of her late grandmother Gina – his second ink for her – as a birthday present for Nicola.
Thanks for getting in touch. Obviously very lovely news about Brooklyn’s wedding. This isn’t something we’d comment on as we don’t represent the group, however, am sure if and when the girls make an appearance it’ll be a splash!
