Stacey Solomon has shown off the adorable matching dress that baby daughter Rose wore for her wedding day with fiancé Joe Swash.
The Loose Woman panellist and former X Factor star, 32, tied the knot with 40-year-old EastEnders actor Joe last weekend at their Essex home, Pickle Cottage.
Their fairytale wedding finally came together following pandemic-related delays and the couple’s decision to wait a little longer after Stacey became pregnant with Rose, with the couple sharing pictures of the magical day on social media.
TV star Stacey’s gorgeous dress was revealed, with a corset top, long flowing skirt and draped details on the arms.
Having previously shared on Instagram that Rose’s dress was going to be made from the off cuts of her gown, as she took a snap of her daughter’s adorable bridal shoes – which she’d matched with her own by adding a bow – Stacey finally revealed the two outfits side by side.
Uploading a black and white clip of the two dresses hanging next to each other from a beam in the house, the skirt of 10-month-old Rose’s tiny dress was shown to match the sparkly material of her mum’s gown, with a satin top and bow.
The Sort Your Life Out presenter wrote in the caption: ‘I hung mine and Rose’s wedding dresses up in my bedroom and every time I walk in to go to bed my heart just bursts.’
‘Her dress was made from the off cut of mine. I would wear it every day if socially acceptable,’ she admitted.
The generous newlyweds have revealed they were donating their wedding decorations to charities, refuge centres and organisations, as Stacey requested information from her 5.3million followers on anywhere that night be in need of what she was offering in the aftermath of their wedding.
The Barnados charity has already benefited from ‘tents, tubes, and mini tables’, which were used to create a ‘little pickle’ section at the wedding.
Stacey had previously stated that a huge part of their special day was dedicated to their loved ones who are no longer here – in particular, Joe’s late father and her late grandad.
She penned on social media: ‘The most special day that we didn’t ever want to end. We love you all & the special community we’ve built on here so so much and couldn’t wait to share these moments with you.
‘Joe lost his father at the age of 11 and so did my dad. A huge part of our wedding day was reflecting on how this had a huge effect on them and how hard it is, even to this day to deal with.’
Joe and Stacey got engaged in December 2020, and share two-year-old son Rex and baby Rose together, who was born on October 4 last year, Stacey’s 32nd birthday.
Stacey is also mother to sons Zachary, 13, and Leighton, nine, from previous relationships, while Joe is dad to 15-year-old son Harry with his former fiancée.
