Stacey Solomon took to Instagram to beg followers for healing tips after suffering a serious stomach injury.
The 34-year-old Sort Your Life Out host frequently takes her viewers inside Pickle Cottage and the daily lives of her family, which includes her husband Joe Swash and their five children.
But after the highs, including their stunning private wedding and gorgeous home delivery with youngest daughter Belle, one, came the lows, as the Loose Women panellist recounted a cringe-inducing mishap she suffered while cooking at home.
‘I need your help and guidance,’ she said in a video posted to her Instagram Stories.
‘I burnt myself this morning. Basically, I was making bread – who do I think I am? – and I’d just been to the gym.
‘Come back in the house, was making bread, put it in the oven, went to pull it out and pulled it too far and where I was wearing my gym kit it went straight into my stomach.’
She went on to describe the pain of the unfortunate burn, saying she didn’t immediately register what had happened.
‘I don’t know if anyone else’s brain is like this, it never registers burns like it does any other pain,’ she continued.
‘So it went into my stomach and I was like “Is that hot? Should that be hot? Should it be hurting? Ow.” So I wasn’t immediately “Ow” I had like a whole thought process before “Ow” and I pushed it away quickly, got something cool on it, put some burns cream on it, and dress it – done.’
However, despite being quick to jump to action, she needed help from her followers during the healing process.
Stacey continued: ‘I’ve just literally opened it up and I’m like “Oh what have I done?” So if you’ve got any good tips for what to put on burns so they don’t scar for the future or reduce scarring and how to reduce the stinginess of it that would be really helpful.
‘It’s right on the blooming crease of my tummy as well so every time I bend down I’m like “Ooh”‘, she added, before sharing a picture of the long, straight, dark purple burn mark on her stomach.
She pointed out the visible, round burns above the lengthy line ‘from the grill’, saying, ‘Hopefully it will settle down and look like additional abs in the future.’
It comes after the I’m A Celeb actress received a flood of messages of worry over her pets when her two-year-old daughter Rose appeared to advise feeding raisins to the family’s canines, Teddy and Peanut.
Raisins can be toxic to dogs and, if consumed, can cause a variety of serious symptoms ranging from digestive issues to renal failure.
Stacey responded publicly to one of her Instagram stories, stating she received ‘literally 10 million’ notes urging her dogs not to eat raisins.
‘This is why I was telling Rose we have to pick them up & they can’t be eaten by the doggies & there are no doggies around Belle’s high chair when usually that’s their fave spot,’ she wrote.
She added: ‘But just in case any of that still wasn’t clear… DON’T feed raisins to dogs.’
