Stacey Solomon so ‘proud and nervous’ as she debuts new book Tap To Tidy

Stacey Solomon can’t wait to take her love of tidying up to new heights with the release of her book Tap To Tidy.

The TV star, who recently got engaged to boyfriend Joe Swash, has been keeping her Instagram followers entertained with her Tap to Tidys, showing fans the result of her creativity around the house from cleaning the kitchen to sorting an overflowing snack cupboard.

After fans encouraged her to go for it, her love for all things neat and tidy has been turned into a book which will share her methods, hacks, recipes and crafting ideas.

Announcing the project on Instagram, Stacey, 31, said: ‘Honestly I’ve Never been so nervous.

‘Thanks to your kindness, support, love and encouragement, I was given the chance to write a book and I said yes. And yesterday this came through the door and my stomach has been doing summersaults ever since.

‘I can hand on my heart say I’ve thought so much for so long about every word, drawing, diagram, craft, snack, tap to tidy and playlist in it, from cover to cover. It’s taken over my life for the last year.

‘You all told me to go for it and so I did…I just hope it’s everything you thought it would be and I really hope I do you proud. Because the truth is if it wasn’t for you I would never have had the confidence to even do it. And I am so grateful for you all I can’t even begin to put it into words.

‘So here we go. I’m so nervous it’s a joke. This is for you. Love you to the moon and back, always Stace.

‘P.S There is a filter on this because otherwise I look like a beetroot.’

She later shared a clip of herself flicking through her copy of Tap To Tidy, only to find all the pages were blank.

‘I thought I’d just open this up quickly and show you a couple of the things inside that I’m really proud of, and then I realised, it’s completely empty! It’s just the cover,’ the mum-of-three laughed.

As an extra treat for readers the book will come with a QR code to download a playlist of all her favourite songs to get making to, featuring hit songs from the likes of Destiny’s Child and Christina Milian.

In line with her #SupportSmallwithStace campaign on social media, the Loose Women star is going to highlight businesses who have been struggling in the pandemic by bigging up the ones she swears by, selling everything from clothing to food and jewellery.

It’s another new chapter for the singer who is preparing to marry long term boyfriend Joe after he popped the question on Christmas Eve.
