Please think of poor Stacey Solomon and her nipples as the star showed off her newborn daughter while lamenting the glorious effects of motherhood.
Yesterday Stacey confirmed she welcomed her daughter with Joe Swash on her 32nd birthday on Monday, and is clearly riding on a high wave of endorphins with her bundle of joy.
Dropping by her Instagram on Wednesday to say hi, Stacey was beaming despite sharing the sore state of her nipples.
Writing they were ‘already a mess’, the Loose Women star said: ‘She’s just had a feed, my nipples are like just one blister, but I’ve still got loads of serotonin left from the birth so I’m making the most. I love her so much.
‘She’s amazing. The boys are amazing…I’m so happy.’
Stacey, who was cradling her little one – who she yet to publicly share the name of – thanked her followers for their kind words, adding: ‘Your messages are so lovely too, every time I’m feeding her I sit and read them and they’re the loveliest comfort.’
Yesterday the star shared pictures of the new arrival on Instagram, revealing that she arrived on Stacey’s birthday.
In one photo, the presenter and Joe’s newborn daughter is seen in a pink babygrow surrounded by the hands of her mum, dad, and brothers.
‘She’s Here 🤍 Born at Pickle Cottage on mummy’s birthday,’ Stacey penned. ‘Our little girl… Happy birthday my darling daughter… We all love you more than you could ever imagine.
‘Your brothers, your daddy and I are so in love. Thank you for the most incredible 9 months. Now we cannot wait for the rest of our lives with you.’
It is the first daughter for both Stacey and Joe, 39. Stacey has older sons Zach, 13, and Leighton, nine, as well as two-year-old Rex with fiancé Joe, while the former soap star is dad to son Harry, 13, with ex Emma Sophocleous.
The couple, who have delayed their wedding until after their daughter’s birth, revealed they had had miscarriages in the journey to becoming parents again.
Stacey previously wrote alongside a video of a negative pregnancy test as well as a form reading ‘complete miscarriage’, adding: ‘For a really long time we have been trying for another pickle… It didn’t work out and this was our news quite a few times…
‘We decided we were so lucky already to have our boys. It is our biggest privilege in life and we are so grateful to be parents so we stopped trying and counted ourselves so so so blessed already…’
In sweet news, the pair announced in June they were expanding their brood, as Stacey said on Instagram: ‘We are growing another pickle. We’ve never felt so grateful… I have no words. We didn’t think we would get the chance.
‘We love you all to the moon and back. Lots of love From Me, Joe, Harry, Zach, Leighton, Rex, and our little pickle.’
