Max George had an adorable reunion with his dog after he was sent home from Strictly Come Dancing.

The Wanted singer – who was paired up with Dianne Buswell – was eliminated from Strictly last weekend, when judges opted to keep Maisie Smith in the competition.

His dog was clearly thrilled by his return, very excitedly greeting the 32-year old at the front door.

Taking to Instagram, Max blessed us all with a sweet video of the moment they reunited, after weeks apart.

‘Daddy’s home,’ he captioned the cute clip.

Fans couldn’t get enough of the very brief video, and flooded the comments section with praise.

‘Ahhh!! Albert has missed you so much!!,’ one replied, as another posted: ‘This is so cute. He’s so happy to see you.’

A follower agreed: ‘Aww! You and Albert are so cute!! He is very happy, Daddy is in home!!’

‘My heart :))) this is way to cute,’ an Instagram user added.

We totally agree.

Max was booted out of Strictly this weekend, after failing to impress judges and viewers with his American Smooth.

It was an awkward weekend for the Glad You Came star, who accidentally swore at the end of the energetic routine.

He could be heard yelling, ‘f**king get in,’ as they finished their dance, before appearing to catch himself.

Claudia Winkleman promptly apologised, telling viewers: ‘I also just want to quickly apologise for some language earlier that involved Max.

‘I don’t know the details, I don’t know if you heard. If you did, we’re deeply sorry. Even if you didn’t hear, we’re sorry on every level.’

Max later tweeted an apology, writing: ‘Hope you enjoyed the dance guys!!!! I may have got a little bit lost in the moment and said a bad word.

‘Apologies if that was the case! Much love!!! X’.

Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday, at 7.15pm, on BBC One.
