Susannah Constantine has shared another video of her braving the icy cold water to go outdoor swimming in the middle of winter, and her grunts say everything about just how cold it is.
The TV stylist, 58, has been keeping fans up to date with her wild swimming trips and even the fact that it’s December in the UK and temperatures are barely above freezing in most place hasn’t stopped her taking a dip.
Susannah’s latest video sees her and a pal brave a lake in the countryside to get their laps in, as she told her followers: ‘No words… grunts say it all. #wildsusannah. #countryliving #susannahconstantine. #titsbiggerthanhead.’
She tells the camera: ‘So today, Ali’s been in in her knickers and bra. ‘I’m beautifully attired in my swimsuit with my big udders, and it’s two degrees today.’
Taking note of the ridiculous temperature, she added: ‘I’m surprised it’s not frozen.’
Susannah is then seen lowering herself in off the edge as she loudly grunts trying to get through the icy water to the patch of lily pads before turning back around.
The passion for open water swimming began when Susannah gave up drinking in 2013 after realising she was an alcoholic.
Susannah spoke about what sparked her seven years in recovery, writing in an essay for the Daily Mail: ‘My rock bottom came in 2013 while on holiday in Cornwall with my husband.
‘I blacked out and fell, fracturing two small bones in my back. I woke up, in terrible agony, on the pavement and realised I needed help.
‘I called a friend — she called another friend — and within days I was at my first AA meeting.’
