Hollywood star Houston Tumlin has died, aged 28.
The actor, who appeared alongside Will Ferrell in Talladega Nights, died by suicide.
Shelby County Coroner Lina Evans confirmed the news of his death to Metro.co.uk, stating that he died at his home on Tuesday, in Pelham, Alabama.
According to TMZ, his girlfriend was in the property at the time of his death.
Following the news, fans have rushed to pay their respects on social media, penning ‘rest in peace’ under his most recent Instagram uploads.
Houston made a name for himself starring in the 2006 comedy Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, appearing alongside an A-List cast including Amy Adams and Sacha Baron Cohen.

He had a small role in the flick, playing Will’s foul-mouthed son, Walker Bobby.
Houston recently recalled his time on set, sharing a screengrab as he watched the film on TV.
Alongside the post, he simply wrote: ‘Yay 2 Christmas’s.’
Talladega Nights was his only professional film credit – with TMZ stating he was most recently serving in the Army.
The publication reports that he served in the Army’s 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell in 2015.
