Taylor Swift fans think there was some subtle shade thrown at Scooter Braun in Ryan Reynolds advert for dating app Match.
In the funny clip we see Satan try to find love online before meeting ‘2020’ (which has been the year from hell).
They fall for each other after going on a series of dates, including one where they nick a load of toilet roll.
The advert is sound-tracked by Taylor’s single Love Story which she has rerecorded after producer Scooter Braun bought, then sold, the rights to her masters catalogue.
In the Match ad, created by the Deadpool star’s studio Maximum Effort, Satan and his new lady love take a selfie next to a dumpster in flames (dumpster fire, geddit?)
Eagled eyed viewers spotted that a lone scooter was lying discarded next to another dumpster in the background.
This is just speculation, but it wouldn’t be the first time Scooter became a target of a silent dig.
After Scooter’s sale sparked a public falling out between the pair, the Cardigan singer hit back in her video for The Man with her boorish character ‘Tyler’ Swift urinating next to a ‘No scooters’ sign.
Taylor has been free to rerecord her music as of November.
Sharing the advert of Twitter, the star told her fans that the re-records are ‘not done’.
It comes after the ME! singer landed an album of the year nomination at the 2021 Grammys for Folklore.
