Tekashi69 has reportedly been sued over a 2015 sexually explicit video, which features a an underage girl.
The rapper previously pled guilty as part of a plea deal, to use of a child in a sexual performance. According to TMZ, a woman claiming to be the girl in the video is now suing him.
According to legal documents obtained by the site, the woman, only identified as Jane Doe, is suing the 24-year-old for allegedly sexually abusing her at a party in 2015, when she was just 13.
She is also said to claim that she was under the influence of drugs and alcohol and unable to consent to Tekashi and his friend Tay Milly making three sexually explicit videos of her.
She is suing Teskashi – real name Daniel Hernandez – and Milly for child sexual assault, child sexual abuse and infliction of emotional distress.
Teskashi’s lawyer, Lance Lazzaro, has told TMZ that the rapper will ‘defend the lawsuit vigorously’, also saying it’s been five years since the incident and she is only suing now.
According to the complaint against Tekashi, one of the three videos showed ‘the child [engaging] in oral sexual intercourse with the separately charged defendant, while the defendant, Daniel Hernandez, stands behind the child making a thrusting motion with his pelvis and smacking her on her buttocks. The child is nude in the video’.
The rapper took a plea deal in 2018, and admitted to partaking in the making and disseminating of a music video featuring a sexual video of a 13-year-old.
Speaking to the New York Times, the Trollz rapper, who was 18 at the time of the incident, said: ‘The thing with a 13-year-old girl, I was at the wrong place at the wrong time.’
He added: ‘Listen, I went to this place, and these guys brought this underage girl. I’m filming it, uploading it for the masses to see. If you committed a murder, would you upload that Instagram?
‘I uploaded it to social media for the world to see! You’re thinking there’s no crime being committed.’
He said he turned himself in, and when asked how he felt when he found out the girl was 13, he said: ‘That tore me apart. My whole life felt like it was coming crashing down. I’m in the interrogation room like, “what did I do? Damn, my life is over.”’
The Gummo star denied, though, that he was ‘this 40-year-old Jeffrey Epstein type’, noting his age at the time, and said that ‘no other celebrity gives back as much as Daniel Hernandez’.
