To All The Boys star Noah Centineo undergoes surgery after years of ‘chronic tonsillitis and strep throat’

To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before star Noah Centineo has revealed he underwent surgery to remove his tonsils.

The actor took to Instagram on Sunday to update fans after he had his tonsils removed last week.

In a post featuring pictures and videos, the 24-year-old explained: ‘Got my tonsils taken out 2 days ago.

‘Goodbye chronic tonsillitis and strep throat. I hope you enjoyed your free stay for the last 7 years.’

One of the slides featured a video from the hospital where he showed off his now tonsil-less throat.

He could be heard saying: ‘All right, all done…Finished it.’

Meanwhile, fans just have weeks to go until they get to see the actor reprise his role as Peter Kavinsky for a final time in the flick, To All The Boys: Always and Forever.

The third installment of his hit Netflix movie follows Lara Jean Covey (played by Lana Condor) and Peter as they plan for their future together, with both hoping to get into Stanford University and enjoy college as a couple.

Naturally, the course of true love never runs smoothly and if the trailer is anything to go by, the pair are in for some major hiccups: mainly Lara Jean getting a taste for New York and reconsidering following her boyfriend to Stanford.

Not so sure they’d be able to survive long-distance, it looks like Lara Jean has a tough decision to make.

Always and Forever is the third and final instalment in the To All The Boys trilogy, based on the book To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before penned by Jenny Han.

The sequels – P.S I Still Love You and Always and Forever – were shot back to back, with the second movie dropping on Netflix in February 2020.

To All The Boys: Always and Forever lands on Netflix on February 12.
