Tom Daley has shared his latest knitted creation and we think it might just be his best one yet.
The Olympic gold-medal-winning diver, 27, took to Instagram to show off the multicoloured cardigan he had made, replicating an outfit worn by none other than Harry Styles, 27.
Tom posted a photo of him wearing the cardigan without a shirt underneath as he told his followers: ‘PATCHWORK REALNESS @madewithlovebytomdaley Finally finished knitting this bad boy!
‘It’s the @jw_anderson patchwork cardigan, as worn by @harrystyles. What do you think?’
He added on his Instagram story: ‘I’m buzzing that I’ve finally finished this, it took me so long but I’m happy.’
The brightly coloured patchwork knitwear went viral after former One Direction star Harry wore the original £1,250 JW Anderson number during a rehearsal for NBC’s Today show in February last year.
After Harry wore it, people around the world took to TikTok to share videos of them trying to recreate the garment by knitting their own version at home.
The knitting pattern was then released by the designer, Jonathan Anderson, who said at the time: ‘I am so impressed and incredibly humbled by this trend and everyone knitting the cardigan.
‘I really wanted to show our appreciation so we are sharing the pattern with everyone. Keep it up!’
The impressive cardigan is far from the first item Tom has knitted, as the sportsman has been practising his knitting and crocheting skills for ages.
His handiwork reached a wider audience during the Tokyo 2020 Olympics this year after he was seen working on a special commemorative cardigan while in the stands.
Tom’s husband, Dustin Lance Black, 47, even teased him back in March 2021 about his ‘thirsty knitting videos’ after Tom shared snippets of him crocheting topless on Instagram.
If he’s taking orders, we’ll definitely have one of the #HarryStylesCardigans…
