It seems an Adam Sandler movie left a huge impression on David Dobrik.
The YouTuber has splashed out $9.5 million (£6.8m) on his new home – that comes complete with a water fountain that dispenses fruit punch.
The 24-year-old got the idea from the 2002 comedy Mr Deeds, in which Adam Sandler plays a man who inherits $40 billion and a mansion with a water fountain that actually dispenses Hawaiian Punch.
In his return to YouTube, Dobrik showed off the high school-style fountain in his mansion, and happily explained that instead of water, it provides a stream of red Hawaiian Punch.
It’s just one of the ridiculous features of the Los Angeles mansion, which the vlogger bought last year at a 20% discount from its original $12 million (£8.6m) price tag.
The video saw Dobrik inviting friends over to see the house, with all of them flipping out as you would expect.
Drake and Josh star Josh Peck marvelled at the sheer size of the place, saying: ‘This is the house you can afford after you quit vlogging? What could you afford if you kept vlogging, f***ing Puerto Rico?’
The six-bedroom, seven-bathroom house comes with an array of cool features, including an infinity pool, a basketball court, a cinema room, a swing deck, a 12-car parking area and a fully tricked out podcast studio, where he plans to record his podcast Views.
Of course, as well as all the necessary tricked out rooms, Dobrik splashed out on some entirely unnecessary but very cool details to bring his pad to the next level.
In his latest video, he showed off a 300 bottle wine room behind glass doors, which can only be accessed via a fingerprint scanner.
The star also kitted out his bedroom with a massive bed that could probably fit his whole crew, and decorated the house with a lifesize replica of Iron Man.
As for his bar – that has been stocked with tequila made by Tesla.
As you do.
The house has taken six months to do up, with Dobrik’s friends and assistants Ella D’Souza and Taylor Hudson helping out with the big move.
As a thank you, Dobrik surprised the girls with a brand new Mercedes and an Audi, with their reactions caught on camera.
Dobrik, originally from Slovakia, first shot to fame in 2013 on the now-defunct app Vine, and went on to be one of YouTube’s most popular vloggers, with a combined 27.35 million subscribers across his channels.
He also has 25.7 million followers on TikTok, where he has been treating fans to more sneak peeks of his house.
Dobrik took a hiatus from YouTube last year as the coronavirus pandemic hit the States, but plans to post weekly podcasts to his channel from this week, starting with an interview with popstar Halsey, who is expecting her first baby.
