YouTube star Grace Victory has shared the first photo of her baby after waking up from an medically induced coma following her battle with coronavirus.

The new mum had been admitted into intensive care on Christmas Day last year – a day after giving birth to her first child.

Family had revealed at the time that Grace was ‘too unwell to carry on with the pregnancy’ and doctors were forced to deliver her son early.

Earlier this month, Grace revealed that she is now awake and it seems she’s been making up for lost time with her bubba.

Taking to Twitter, she shared an adorable photo of her baby’s teeny tiny feet and posted a white heart emoji alongside it.

Fans rushed to give Grace their well-wishes and said they are ‘so happy’ that she is on mend.

‘We’ve missed you Grace. Hope your feeling better,’ said one follower, as another responded: ‘Amazing. I hope you are resting and healing Grace. I’m so happy you are on the mend x.’

‘So happy for you Grace,’ tweeted another, while one more posted: ‘Heaven right there. He was always going to be divine with you as a mummy.’

On March 8, Grace had returned to social media for the first time since being placed into a coma to reveal she was awake.

She tweeted: ‘I’m awake,’ and followed that up with another post that read: ‘Baby boy is thriving at home x.’

It came after Grace’s family had updated fans on her health at the end of last year and revealed promising news when it came to her recovery.

‘Grace is currently stable and responding well to treatment,’ it read. ‘We as a family are truly overwhelmed by the amount of Love and well wishes sent to our Grace and we want to thank each and everyone of you for casting a light of hope our way,’ her family said in a statement.

‘Please still keep Grace in your thoughts and prayers. Let’s get her home. Love family & bubba x. (sic)’

Grace had given birth on Christmas Eve – two weeks after coming down with Covid-19. Her family had previously explained that Grace’s symptoms were mild at first, but they worsened and she became ‘too unwell’ to continue with her pregnancy.

Following the safe delivery of her baby boy, Grace was then admitted into intensive care on Christmas Day due to ‘issues with her breathing’ and doctors made the decision to place her into an induced coma in order for her body to recover.

A month before, Grace had spent almost two weeks in hospital after falling unwell while pregnant, later revealing on YouTube that she had been ‘severely dehydrated’.

Following the birth of her son, Grace had confirmed his arrival on social media.

She wrote: ‘We’re parents. It’s been a wild week but this morning baby boy arrived and is our little Christmas miracle.

‘We are all doing so well and I am f*g in love… IM A MUVAAAAAAAAAAAA [sic].’
