A luxury fashion retailer for pets has a new item for dogs – tiny Uggs.
Instagram seller @veryimportantpuppies released the mini boots for canines after collaborating with Australian brand UGGs.
You can get a snug black pair that comes with a neon top or opt for a brown version, both trimmed with faux fur.
The shoes will cost owners £60.
The sellers advertised the item on adorable dogs who were shown matching their owners.
The VIP x Ugg dog booties come in six different sizes so if you’re looking for a pair for your pet, there’s a good chance you might be able to find a fitting one.
The VIP booties have already proved to be a hit with customers as they have sold out.
People have uploaded photos of their beloved pooches rocking the Ugg look.
But some people commented that £60 on dog boots may be too indulgent.
Describing the product, the brand writes: ‘Turn heads on the street or at the dog park. Combining Ugg’s iconic materials with our VIP utility-driven streetwear designs, our very first canine collab lets you treat your pup to the feeling of Ugg.
‘Taking inspiration from the Classic Boot with signature overstitch seams, this four-legged footwear piece is cast in rich faux suede with fluffy faux fur trim accents.
‘Finished with a durable rubber out-sole to keep your pet covered, it features an easy-entry opening at the front of the boot and adjustable hook-and-loop strap that wraps around for a secure fit.’
The boots have received plenty of love online. One person commented ‘super cute paws’, while another wrote: ‘I love these shoes. So comfy and easy to put on!’
Others weren’t so convinced. One person said: ‘Dogs don’t need shoes, their feet are not designed to walk in shoes. Their feet don’t get cold.’
That might be true, but you can’t deny how cute they look.
